Rejoice, for Pinarello has entered the world of singletrack. A frame approaching a mere 1,000 grams is almost unheard of in the knobby world. Built from Torayca 60HM1K carbon, the Dogma XC’s asymmetrical geometry creates an incredibly stiff, responsive, nimble ride. The rear triangle on this 29-inch wheeled bike is an exhibit of mind-boggling engineering: the stout, asymmetrical chainstays maximize power transfer while the unique, asymmetrical seat stays meet above the top tube for damping vibration and increasing comfort. Up front, a tapered head tube, 100mm Fox Float 32 fork and a 15mm through axle provide impressive handling to help you hold your line over tricky roots and rock sections.
Due to pedaling forces transmitted through the bicycle's chain, stresses on the right side (drive side) of the frame are different from the left. To better transfer pedal power to the ground, Pinarello stiffens the right side of their frames. This ensures excellent power transmission and responsiveness under high load (such as sprint efforts).
